Maha Metro has ushered in a new era of convenient commuting by introducing the ‘One Pune Card,’ a prepaid metro card designed to enhance the travel experience for all metro patrons. The initiative, announced on August 12th, offers a seamless and versatile payment solution.

In collaboration with HDFC Bank, Maha Metro has developed the ‘One Pune Card,’ which operates on the indigenous RuPay Indian Payment app.

The card aligns with the directives of the Central Government, adhering to the guidelines of the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC).

The ‘One Pune Card’ is a multifunctional asset. Beyond facilitating swift and cashless metro travel, it can be employed for retail transactions across India. Its versatility extends to bus services, and the contactless nature of the card ensures speedy transactions. Transactions below Rs 5000 do not necessitate a PIN or password, further streamlining usage for small to substantial transactions.

Acquiring the ‘One Pune Card’ is hassle-free and accessible at all Pune Metro Stations. Interested individuals can complete the e-form available on the official Pune Metro website to secure their card.

The card eliminates the need for long queues to purchase metro tickets. A simple tap of the ‘One Pune Card’ on the AFC Gate grants entry to the desired metro train, sparing commuters the inconvenience of waiting. Upon disembarking at their chosen station, another tap ensures automatic deduction of the appropriate fare.

Adding to its appeal, the ‘One Pune Card’ offers a 10% discount on metro tickets, extending monetary benefits to frequent commuters. This initiative not only simplifies travel but also rewards its users.

As Maha Metro revolutionizes the travel landscape, Punekars are encouraged to embrace the convenience of the ‘One Pune Card.’ Beyond its role in facilitating metro journeys, the card opens doors to a realm of exciting advantages, enhancing the overall urban commuting experience.
