Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024: MNS Releases List of 45 Candidates, Including Key Names from Kothrud, Hadapsar, and Khadakwasla
As the Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 draw closer, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has officially revealed its list of 45 candidates, marking a significant step in the party’s election campaign. With the Model Code of Conduct now in place, political parties are intensifying their efforts ahead of the nomination phase.
Among the prominent candidates, Amit Thackeray, son of MNS chief Raj Thackeray, is set to contest from the Mahim constituency. Other key figures include Sainath Babar for Hadapsar, Kishor Shinde, who will represent Kothrud, and Mayuresh Wanjale for Khadakwasla. Mayuresh, son of the late MLA Ramesh Wanjale, aims to carry forward his father’s political legacy in the region, as Ramesh Wanjale was elected in 2009 and left a lasting impact.
The list underscores the MNS’s strategic blend of seasoned politicians and new faces, highlighting the party’s intention to maintain and expand its influence in Maharashtra. With the election date approaching, the MNS is expected to finalize its candidate roster, with a focus on key battleground constituencies where it seeks to bolster voter support.
