Maharashtra: Two die while participating in Ganesh procession
Sangli (Maharashtra), Sep 27 , Two persons died while taking part in Ganesh processions in two different areas of Maharashtra’s Sangli district, police said on Wednesday.
According to the police, a 32 year old man, who had undergone Angioplasty only ten days back, suddenly felt dizzy and became unconscious while taking part in a Ganesh procession at Kavathe-ekand village in Tasgaon Tehsil. Shekhar Sukhdev Pavashe died before he could be given any medical treatment.
In another incident, a businessman who was jiving to beats of a DJ’s music with his friends, fainted at Dudhari village of Walva Tehsil. Praveen Yashwant Shirtode (35), was rushed to a private hospital where he died.
