Mahashivratri celebrations held at Sankat Haran Mahadev Mandir

Maha Shivaratri celebrations began with auspicious chants of Maha Rudram at the Sankat Haran Mahadev Mandir located besides Bramha Majestic society on NIBM road in Kondhwa.

The two day long Maha Shivaratri celebrations at the temple will have several programs. Day one started with Rudraswahakar, Maharudrabhishek, Homa, Havan, Prasad at 10 am while Bhajan recitation by Shree Pandurang Seva Bhajani Mandal at 12 noon, and Shree Pandurang at 12 noon and Seva Mahila Bhajani Mandal to hold Bhajan programme at 6 PM Bhajan Sandhya by Swarsaptak, Pune (Bhavgeet and Bhaktigeet) and at 7 PM Dhoop Aarti will be performed.

The first day of the celebrations also had a dance performance by students of Sadhana Nrityalaya on Shiva.

The second day celebrations will have Rudram chantings and Shiv Bhandara -Maha Prasad distribution from 10 AM to 3 PM. The program is organised for Kondhwa, Wanowrie, Salunke Vihar road, NIBM road residents by Tanaji Dnyandev Lonkar, Ex Corporator, PMC, NIBM.
