Two routes in Pune Metro to be inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi

Two routes on the much awaited Pune Metro will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 6.

Two lines of the maha Metro, PCMC to Swargate and Vanaz to Ramwadi are now gearing up to be opened to the public.

With the nod from Metro railway safety commissioner in January 2021, after the inspection of the 7 km line from PCMC to Phugewadi, punekars will finally be able to commute on the Metro.

“The 5 km line from Vanaz to Garware also has been approved by the commissioner in Febraury 2022, thus now punekars can look forward to a safe commute by the Metro.

“18 kms of Metro line and 10 metro stations have been inspected and ready for commuters after the Prime minister’s visit,” said a source from Maha Metro.
