A video capturing a man’s unnervingly calm reaction as a king cobra slithers across his legs has gone viral, leaving viewers both stunned and intrigued.
In the clip, the snake—believed by some users to be a king cobra—is seen gliding slowly over the man’s legs while he lies motionless on a bed. Despite the dangerous proximity of one of the world’s most venomous snakes, the man does not flinch or attempt to escape. Instead, he remains still, seemingly aware that any sudden movement could trigger a defensive response from the reptile.
Social media users suggested the video was filmed in Uttarakhand, although Pune Pulse could not independently verify the location.
The man’s composure remains intact even as the snake inches closer to his face. At one point, he calmly turns the camera toward himself and manages a smile. However, when the snake gets alarmingly close to his head and locks eyes with him, the man finally leaps off the bed in panic. Interestingly, the cobra does not react aggressively and remains still throughout the encounter.
