Man spotted for peeping into ladies washroom at mall
Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad police are looking for a man who was spotted peeping into a lavatory cubicle by a woman at a Spot 18 mall in Rahatani on Thursday, March 10.Â
The woman has registered a case at Wakad police station. An incident took place when a couple visited a mall to watch a film.The woman needed to use the washroom and went to one in the mall.
According to police, the woman entered one of the toilet cubicles in the washroom. At that time, she noticed that someone was peeping into her cubicle. Police told that these cubicles are separated by partitions that are open from the top and bottoms.
Satyawan Mane, senior police inspector said,“Realising a woman had seen him,the accused walked out before security staff could understand anything. We have collected CCTV footages of the cameras installed in mall and the identification process of the accused is going on.’’
Satyawan Mane told that, as per a complaint filed by the woman, we have booked an unidentified person under sections to outrage modesty of a woman and search operation is going on.
