Amravati, June 9 (UNI) The person who threatened NCP supremo Sharad Pawar on Twitter has been identified as a BJP worker from Maharashtra’s Amravati city ,a senior police official informed on Friday. According to the official, the person who threatened Pawar on Twitter has been identified as Saurabh Pimpalkar.

Pimpalkar (26), resident of the Sainagar area of ​​Amravati city, is a BJP worker, said the official. On his Twitter account, he has written, ‘I am BJP activist and I hate secularism’. Amravati Police Commissioner Navinchandra Reddy has given instructions to monitor Saurabh Pimpalkar’s movements. A team of local police is searching for him. The team also searched his house, but he was not found and his mobile was also switched off, said the official.

Cyber ​​Police is investigating the matter further, the official said. However, the Amravati CP informed that no complaint has been filed yet against Saurabh. Notably, some pictures of Saurabh Pimpalkar with BJP State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule and Union Minister Raosaheb Danve are now circulating on social media.
