Mega clean up drive held at B T Kawade road canal
Swachh Pune Swachh Bharat in collaboration with #ExploreiT started a mega cleanup drive at canal road off B T Kawade road. Adar Poonawala Clean Cities Initiative and PMC Pune joined this two hour effort on this Sunday morning on February 6, 2022.
The entire effort is directed towards International Youth and Sustainability Festival being planned at Symbiosis Viman Nagar campus on 22 to 23 Apr 2022. The event Calendar which has been built to provide an opportunity to the youth of the city to support the sustainability cause. To name a few, mega cleanup of hyacinth from mutha river at Kawadipat and Sinhgad fort cleanup are planned in coming weeks.
Today’s effort at BT Kawade road was attended by volunteers from Symbiosis, APCCI, PMC Pune and few residents of Sopan and Uday Baug.
