Wakad police station awarded for being ‘Cleanest’ govt office
Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation conducted an initiative of ‘Swachh Shaskiya Karyalay’ (Swachh Government Office) under Swachh Sarvekshan 2022. In this initiative Wakad Police Station got third rank. Recently they were awarded by PCMC officials.
“We have always ensured that Wakad Police station is clean. We have got A++ grade for maintaining cleanliness and segregation of waste from Deputy Chief Minister this year. We are always trying to keep our station clean and also ensure that the people working here feel good and positive. I congratulate all my officers and staff for this achievement, and we will always work hard towards maintaining it, ”
said Dr, Vivek Mugalikar, SPI Wakad Police station.
“Under PCMC Swachh Survekshan 2022 initiative, we are conducting various programmes, to spread awareness on cleanliness, hygiene and waste management and segregation. The ‘Swachh Shaskiya Karyalay’ was one of the initiatives under this. PCMC’s all government buildings took part in this, in which Wakad police station got third rank for cleanliness,”
