Metro routes from Phugewadi Station to Civil Court and Garware College Station to Ruby Hall Station to start soon

The metro route which are connected from Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Station to Phugewadi Station and Vanaz Station to Garware College Station will soon be opened from Phugewadi Station to Civil Court Interchange Station and Garware College Station to Civil Court Interchange Station to Ruby Hall Station.

Metro rail tests have already been conducted on the Garware Station to Civil Court Interchange Station and Phugewadi Station to Civil Court Interchange Station routes. Testing on the Civil Court Interchange Station to Mangalwar Peth (RTO) to Pune Railway Station to Ruby Hall Station route is set to take place in the coming days, with the aim of completing all works within the next eight to ten days.

Once works are completed, the Railway Safety Commissioner will be called for the CMRS inspection of the routes. With approval granted, passenger services will begin in the near future, with important stations on the route including Mangalwar Peth (RTO), Pune Railway Station, and Ruby Hall Station.

The addition of these stations is set to make travel more convenient for citizens of Pune, connecting important locations such as Jehangir Hospital, Wadia College, and the School Engineering College. The pedestrian bridge of Pune railway station will also be connected to the concourse floor of the metro, providing ease of access for rail and metro passengers.

Speaking about the progress, the Managing Director of Mahametro, Dr. Brijesh Dixit, said, “The works of Phugewadi to Civil Court Interchange Station and Garware College Station to Ruby Hall Station are almost completed. Passenger services will be started on this route soon.”
