Pune: MHADA data reveals that over 73,000 applications were received for the Pune lottery 2023, which offers 5,863 affordable homes ranging from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 1.11 crore. The deadline for submitting applications was October 30, and the lottery results will be announced on November 24.

As per the information received, the Pune board launched the lottery on September 6, offering affordable homes in Pune, Solapur, Sangli, and Kolhapur. Of the total 5,863 homes available, a total of 2,445 will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. As of October, over 51,000 homebuyers had submitted their earnest money deposit (EMD) out of the total 73,000 applicants.

As per the information received, it is anticipated that this number has increased since the deadline for EMD payment was October 31. The results of the allocation process will be announced on November 24.

Apartment sizes in the lottery range from 204 sq ft to 1,087 sq.ft of carpet area and are available in various configurations, such as 1 RK, 1 BHK, 2 BHK, and 3 BHK. The highest-priced apartment, located in the Sant Tukaram Nagar area of Pimpri, is a 3 BHK unit priced at ₹1.11 crore. This apartment offers a carpet area of 882 sq ft, as stated on MHADA’s website. On the other hand, the most affordable apartment, with a carpet area of approximately 312 sq ft, is situated in Kagal, Kolhapur, and is priced at ₹5 lakh.
