In a recent conversation, Sunita, the wife of Govinda, shared an intriguing story about an incident where a fan disguised herself as a maid and stayed at their residence for a duration of 20 days.
A devoted fan of Govinda took an unusual approach to meet the Bollywood star by disguising herself as a maid. This individual managed to stay in the actor’s residence for an impressive 20 days. Interestingly, it was later revealed that she is the daughter of a minister.
In an interesting revelation by Sunita Ahuja, wife of actor Govinda, one of the actor’s fans went beyond all acceptable norms to be near her favorite actor. It seems a minister’s daughter, totally bowled over by the actor, even went to the extent of working as a maid in their house for about 20 days.
“There was this fan who pretended to be a house help and she stayed with us for around 20-22 days. I thought that she looked like she was from a well-off family. I told my mother-in-law that she didn’t know how to do the dishes or clean the house. Eventually, we got to know she was some minister’s daughter and a Govinda fan,” says Sunita while in conversation on a podcast with Ankit on Timeout.
Delving into the specifics, she mentioned that the girl exhibited unusual behavior, often waiting for Govinda to return home. This raised suspicions prompting them to investigate her background, which revealed that she was the daughter of a minister.
“One day, she was talking over the phone. I snatched her phone. She was talking to her dad and I came to know that she comes from a big family and her father has eight cars. But since she was a huge fan of Govinda, she only wanted to be with him,” added Sunita.
Eventually, the girl admitted her admiration for Govinda, and her father arrived to take her home.
The marriage between Govinda and Sunita was kept under wraps to protect Govinda’s celebrity status. It wasn’t until after the birth of their daughter that they chose to announce their union to the public.
