Miscreants break into 12 shops on Kunal Icon road

Kunal Icon road is often considered as the most secure and busiest street in the entire Pimple Saudagar. But the peaceful environment of the area was disturbed yesterday midnight when unidentified persons attempted to break 12 shops on Kunal Icon road.

Upon talking with PSI Ganesh Gaikwad from Sangvi Police Station, it was understood that the incident occurred during the mid night hours, and the shutter of 2 – 3 medical stores, too, were damaged in an attempt of break-in.

While talking to the official from Sangvi Police station, API Satish Kamble said, “Police is on the look out for the miscreants behind this act by tracing them through the CCTV footage. The Police is rigorously searching for the miscreants.”

However, the residents have strongly requested for an increase in patrolling in a high-importance area like Saudagar. Area corporator, Shatrughan Kate, quickly rushed to the Sangvi Police station and met Police Inspector, Sunil Tonape, who further promised that there will be increase in patrolling in the area.

Shatrughan Kate, while talking to Pulse said, “We immediately rushed to the Sangvi Police station and demanded them a quick investigation in this issue. The robbers, too, will be traced soon.”

Sunil Tonape, Police Inspector, Sangvi Police station said, “Out of twelve shops, two shops come under our jurisdiction. We are investigating the matter and soon all the miscreants will be put behind the bars.”
