MLA Laxman Jagtap passes away due to prolonged illness
Chinchwad constitutency Member of Legislative Assembly Laxman Jagtap passed away today morning at 9.29 . He was suffering from cancer. He was 59 years old.
He worked as corporator for 20 years in the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal corporation. He was the mayor of Pimpri Chinchwad city in 2000. It was in 2009 that Chinchwad constitutency was formed through which he contested the MLA elections and won it too. In 2019 he won the elections and became the MLA for the fourth time. Laxman Jagtap was an inspiration to many people in the party.
