Mohammedwadi : Deputy registrar issues show cause notice to management committee of Raheja Vista Phase 4 T 5 and T 6Â
The deputy registrar of co-operative housing society, zone 4, Pune city recently issued a show cause notice to the management committee of the NIBM Annexe, Mohammedwadi based Raheja Vista Phase 4 T5 and T6.
The notice was sent to the committee as one of the members of the society Dr Zoher Harnesswala had approached the Deputy District Registrar’s office seeking help as the society denied showing any details on the expenditure, annual general body meetings, accounts, audit reports, etc.
The complainant also mentioned that the society was not holding elections even after the present ad hoc committee’s term was over. The Deputy District Registrar D S Housare, Cooperative Housing Society, Pune, Zone 4 has asked the society committee to respond within 15 days of time to the show cause notice.
The complaint stated that :
- The society had not distributed the share certificates even after the society was registered. Also, there has been no record of the accounts as per the by-laws.
- The society was registered on January 1, 2020 but since then there has been no elections held as per the by-laws and the ad-hoc committee has only been looking after the maintenance.
- The annual general body meeting for the year 2022-23 was held on March 19, 2023, before the financial year ends. The information for the 19 March meeting was shared on March 6. The information provided was not accurate and complete about the meeting.
- The society has approved the approximate expenses to be incurred for 2023-24 but has not shared any details on the accounts since the formation of the society.
- The society never showed any transparency when documents related to expenses have been demanded.
When Pune Pulse spoke to the management committee about the notice they informed that suitable action will be taken and the notice would answered.
