Wounds take longer to dry up. Also there are a lot of ticks and fleas so there is a surge in tick fevers which are often life threatening when left untreated. Also the respiratory problems can go up with the wet and cold climate. Owners should ensure the vaccinations of their pets are up to date and tick and flea prevention medicines are given.
