Each of the two language papers carries 300 marks, and candidates must secure at least 25 per cent to qualify. Scores from Papers III to IX, which together account for 1,750 marks, will be used to prepare the merit list. The interview stage will carry an additional 275 marks.

For Papers III to VII, candidates can choose to write their answers either in Marathi or English. However, all these papers must be attempted in the same language selected by the candidate. The commission has clarified that answers written in any language other than the one mentioned in the preliminary application and admit card will not be evaluated.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 139 positions across the state. Examination centres have been arranged in cities including Pune, Nashik, Amravati, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nagpur and Navi Mumbai.
