MSEDCL issues helpline to report about risky distribution systems

The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited has issued a helpline number where residents can complain about the risk posing electrical equipment. In Pune region, the consumers can complain on 7875767123 (consisting of areas like Mulshi, Velhe, Maval, Khed, Junnar, Ambegaon) while for Baramati, Indapur, Daund, Shirur, Bhor, Purandar can call on 7875768074.

Consumers can send photos of risk posing electrical equipment in their detailed location. Citizens can share the details on the whatsapp number directly.

Ankush Nale, regional director, Pune, MSEDCL said, “This facility is created for the benefit of the residents wherein they can complain about such incidents around them. It will be effective for our staff too to resolve the issues timely. The issues after resolving them shall also be shared by MSEDCL, so the complaint forum would be interactive.”
