MSEDCL’s three sub-centers of Pune get ISO certification

Pune: For the first time in the state, three sub-centers in Shivaji Nagar division under Pune Parimandal of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) have simultaneously achieved ‘ISO 9001:2015’ certification.
As per information in the presence of Rajendra Pawar, Mahavitaran Chief Engineer, and Nandkishor Deshmukh, ‘ISO’ auditor and examiner certification of ‘ISO’ rating were awarded to the respective sub-centers.
Pawar said, “Quality and efficiency of substation is very important for smooth and quality power supply. For that purpose, continuous supervision and measures are taken. It is a matter of pride that three sub-centers have simultaneously received ISO 9001:2015 certification. This is an acknowledgment of the preparations made to provide smooth and quality service to the electricity consumers.”
Mahavitaran substations and switching stations are very important to provide smooth and quality power supply services to all categories of consumers. Along with the modernization of these sub-centers, the instructions for their upkeep & maintenance were given by Chief Engineer Rajendra Pawar.
Accordingly, Sus Road 22/22/11 KV substation in Shivajinagar division (Ganeshkhind sub-division) and Mohan nagar and Amar Paradigm 22/22 KV switching station (Aundh sub-division) simultaneously started preparation for ISO 9001:2015 certification.
In this, quality of sub-centers, quality of work, availability of all kinds of security measures and equipment, documentation, medical facilities, beautification, etc were done.
Subsequently, the ISO 9001:2015 team recently visited these three sub-centers and inspected as many as 27 terms and conditions as per the standard. In this, all the three sub-centers qualified for ISO rating.
To get ISO rating, under the guidance of Chief Engineer Rajendra Pawar, the Executive Engineer of Shivajinagar Division Sanjeev Rathore, Additional Executive Engineer Vishwas Bhosale, Sachin Patil, Pandit Dandge along with Assistant Engineer Ramesh Sul, Ganesh Shrikhande, Technician Balasaheb Khilare, Shubhangi Shirole, Sachin Kamble, Mahesh Sutar, Hanumant Shingte worked tirelessly.
