The arrested individuals were identified as Aftab Beg, Mohammad Ayaan Hanif Sheikh, Arbaaz Karim Turki, and Sherbane Mohammad Hasim Siddiqui. During the raid, officials recovered MD drugs from their possession.
The congested nature of Gamdevi Dongri, where even cars struggle to enter, has made it a convenient spot for drug peddlers to operate with little fear of detection. Acting on a tip-off, senior police officer Daya Nayak from Crime Branch Unit 9 dispatched a team to raid the area, successfully apprehending the suspects. An investigation is currently underway.
