Mumbai: Major Fire Erupts at Jogeshwari Furniture Market, No Injuries Reported; Video
A massive fire broke out at the Oshiwara Furniture Market near SV Road in Jogeshwari West on Tuesday afternoon.
The Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) is actively working to contain the Level-2 blaze. No injuries have been reported so far.
The fire started at a furniture godown near A1 Darbar Restaurant on Swami Vivekanand Marg. Authorities received an emergency call at 11:52 AM, prompting a swift response from multiple fire tenders.
The flames are currently confined to the ground floor, with efforts ongoing to bring the situation under control.
Emergency teams, including the Mumbai Fire Brigade, Mumbai Police, Adani Electricity, Ward Staff, and 108 Ambulance services, have been deployed to the site.
Firefighters are continuing operations to prevent the fire from spreading.
