Mumbai-Pune Expressway: Motorists use illegal apps to dodge interceptor vehicles and speed cameras ; reports Highway State Police

On January 11 (Thursday), there will be a traffic block for 2 hours on the Mumbai lane of the Mumbai-Pune expressway due to gantry installation.

As per information shared by Yogesh Bhosale, Highway State Police official, on 11/01/2024 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, under the ITMS project, 2 legs serviceable gantry will be installed on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on the Mumbai channel at Km 29.400 and Km 9.800 in the limits of Highway Police Station, Palaspe.

During the installation of the Gantry, the traffic of all types of light

and heavy vehicles on the Mumbai lane will be completely stopped.

Following are the alternate routes:

· Light vehicles and bus traffic going from Pune to Mumbai will be diverted from Khopoli Exit Km 39 and take National Highway No 48 i.e. Old Pune Mumbai Highway from Khopoli town and proceed on Mumbai lane via Shedung toll plaza.

· Light and heavy vehicle traffic going from Pune to Mumbai will be diverted from Khalapur Exit and will take National Highway No 48 i.e. Old Pune Mumbai Highway from Khalapur town and proceed on Mumbai lane via Shedung toll plaza.
