Mumbai’s Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), the city’s newest and longest sea bridge, has seen significant traction since its inauguration on January 12.

Within the initial 10 days, an average of nearly 30,000 vehicles crossed its 21.8 km stretch, generating a daily toll revenue of Rs 61.50 lakh, as reported by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).

On the first day alone, 28,176 vehicles utilized the bridge, contributing Rs 54.77 lakh in tolls. The following day witnessed an even larger surge with 54,977 vehicles, bringing in Rs 1.06 crore.

Despite toll charges, Mumbaiites are readily embracing the MTHL, connecting Sewri in Mumbai to Chirle in Navi Mumbai. The bridge, symbolizing Mumbai’s ambition and engineering prowess, promises a more connected and efficient future. With sleek design and cutting-edge technology, the MTHL is poised to become a landmark in the city’s landscape.
