A video showing a woman slapping a man at Mumbai’s Govandi Railway Station has gone viral on social media. The incident took place on the Harbour Line, where the woman claimed the man was staring at her and making obscene gestures.

What Happened

The video, shared by mumbai_tv on Instagram, begins with the woman recording the man sitting on the opposite platform. She says he had been behaving inappropriately and even called out to her when she turned away.

She then walks across to the other platform, confronts him, and slaps him. The man, however, denies the accusations and can be heard saying, “I didn’t do anything.”

Other commuters nearby gathered around, with some trying to calm the situation. In the video, the woman is heard saying, “When I started recording, you began doing even more dirty gestures.”

Reactions Online

Many social media users praised the woman for standing up for herself. Comments included: “Strong girl,” “Every girl should be brave like her,” and “Brave girl and all the boys who supported her.”

However, some users also pointed out that viral videos often show only one side of the story. They said it is difficult to fully trust online clips and that it would be better to wait for an investigation before drawing conclusions.
