NEET Paper Leak Row: Sambhaji Brigade Vandalises RCC Coaching Centre Hoarding in Pimpri-Chinchwad
Pimpri-Chinchwad, May 19: Protests over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case intensified in Pimpri-Chinchwad after members of the Sambhaji Brigade allegedly vandalised an RCC coaching classes hoarding in the city.
The protest was led by Sambhaji Brigade Pimpri-Chinchwad city president Satish Kale, with activists raising slogans against alleged corruption in the education system and demanding strict action against those involved in the paper leak case.
According to the organisation, the protest was staged following the arrest of RCC Classes founder Prof. Shivraj Motegavkar by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak investigation. Motegavkar, associated with the well-known RCC coaching institute linked to the “Latur Pattern” of competitive exam preparation, has been at the centre of growing public criticism after his name surfaced in the case.
During the protest, Sambhaji Brigade workers damaged an RCC-related display board and shouted slogans such as “No forgiveness for those playing with students’ futures” and “Take strict action against education mafias.”
Speaking during the agitation, Satish Kale said that lakhs of students prepare honestly for competitive examinations, but alleged paper leaks and corruption are destroying the future of deserving candidates. He stated that the protest was organised to condemn such practices.
Among those present during the protest were Pune district working president Bhaiyyasaheb Gajdhane, Brahmanand Jadhav and Prasad Daundkar.
The protesters also demanded a detailed investigation by both the Central and State governments. They claimed repeated irregularities in national-level examinations like NEET were weakening students’ trust in the education system and called for stronger transparency and accountability measures.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that the CBI investigation has uncovered several important leads linked to the RCC institute. Investigating agencies have reportedly questioned individuals connected to the institute and seized digital evidence during searches conducted at associated premises.
Disclaimer: Allegations related to the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case are currently under investigation. The accused individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
