NEET UG 2025 Registration Begins: Key Guidelines and Application Process
New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially started the online registration process for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025. Candidates can apply on the official website neet.nta.nic.in until March 7, 2025.
Before filling out the application form, aspirants must carefully review the NEET UG 2025 Information Bulletin, follow the instructions, and ensure they meet the eligibility criteria. Having the necessary documents and scanned images in the correct format will help streamline the process.
Important Guidelines for NEET UG 2025 Application
1. Confirmation Page is Mandatory
Once the application is submitted, candidates must download and retain the confirmation page as proof of successful registration. A mere deduction of the application fee from the bank account does not confirm registration.
2. Application Once Submitted Cannot Be Withdrawn
Candidates must double-check all details before final submission, as applications cannot be withdrawn after submission. The exam fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to future exams.
3. Essential Documents and Identity Proofs
Candidates must provide at least one valid identity proof. Below are the acceptable documents based on nationality:
- Indian Nationals:
- Class 12 Admit Card
- Aadhaar Card
- Election Card (EPIC)
- Ration Card
- Bank Passbook with Photograph
- Passport
- Any other government-issued photo ID
- Foreign Nationals/OCI:
- Passport Number or Citizenship Certificate
- NRIs:
- Passport Number
4. Required Scanned Documents
Candidates must upload the following documents in the specified format:
- Photograph:Â JPG/JPEG format (10 kb to 200 kb)
- Signature:Â JPG/JPEG format (10 kb to 50 kb)
- Finger and Thumb Impressions:Â JPG/JPEG format (10 kb to 200 kb)
- PwD Certificate (if applicable):Â PDF format (50 kb to 300 kb)
- Citizenship Certificate (if applicable):Â PDF format (50 kb to 300 kb)
5. Contact Details and Communication
Applicants must enter their complete and accurate address, pin code, email ID, and mobile number. The mobile number and email ID must belong to either the candidate or their parent/guardian.
6. Additional Instructions
- Do not use coaching center or cyber cafe details for contact information.
- Offline applications will not be accepted.
- Retain at least four copies of the confirmation page and fee payment proof.
- Candidates from Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir must submit an online self-declaration for eligibility under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ).
