New 212 bedded Covid hospital to come up in Baner soon

Amidst the surge in Covid19 cases and the patients finding it difficult for getting treatment, Pune Municipal Corporation has decided to create another Covid Care facility in Baner.

This facility is getting ready at the Survey No 33 of PMC, where the facility shall have 212 beds, out of which there will be 150 oxygen beds and 62 ICU beds.

Today, the facility was being reviewed by Pune Mayor Murlidhar Mohol, Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation Vikram Kumar, local corporators Amol Balwadkar, Baburao Chandere, Jyoti Kalamkar, Pralhad Saikar, city engineer Prashant Waghmare, Ganesh Bidkar, leader of house, PMC and others.

This facility shall be built by Pune Municipal Corporation through Mayor’s funds. This covid facility will have 1 thousand LPM (four oxygen generating plant), alongwith having an air conditioning facility and CCTV surveillance system for safety and security of the patients.
