Pimpri: Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) is making steady progress on the much-anticipated railway flyover at Pimpri Dairy Farm. Designed to alleviate persistent traffic congestion, the 565-meter flyover will replace the existing Level Crossing No. 60 on the Mumbai-Pune railway line, connecting Dapodi-Nigdi Road with Powerhouse Chowk.

The flyover, spanning a width of 17.20 meters with four lanes, is designed to accommodate heavy vehicles and ensure smoother commutes for residents of Pimpri, Pimple Saudagar, Rahatni, and surrounding areas. With a total project length of 1,290 meters, the flyover includes approach roads, viaducts, and service roads to provide seamless connectivity.

The project aims to improve access to Pune Mumbai Road and Sant Tukaram Nagar Metro Station, significantly reducing travel time and congestion in key areas such as Shagun Chowk and Indira Gandhi Bridge.
