The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken action in connection with the ISIS terror module case by attaching four properties in Pune’s Kondhwa, labeling them as “proceeds of terrorism.” NIA operatives visibly displayed notices of attachment at all four locations in the Mitha Nagar area, citing the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) as grounds for their action.

These properties, allegedly used by terror suspects to live and carry out their activities, were central to the investigation. The case stems from the arrest of three individuals, including Mohammed Shahnawaz Alam, Mohammed Yusuf Khan, and Mohammed Yunus Mohammed Yakub Saki, on suspicion of vehicle theft in July 2023.

Further scrutiny linked them to a larger network involved in activities such as bomb-making workshops and controlled explosions. The NIA has so far charged 11 individuals in what is now known as the Pune ISIS module case.
