Pune City Traffic Police is seeking suggestions and objections from residents on the ban on entry of vehicles from Samvidhan chowk to ABC Farms chowk.
In its recent order, issued by the deputy commissioner of traffic, Pune city, Rahul Shrirame said, “Reviewing the traffic congestion, we hereby decided to ban entry of vehicles such as PMPML buses, water tankers and other heavy vehicles from Samvidhan circle to ABC Farms chowk. In view of this, we seek suggestions and objections from the local residents before the implementation.”
The traffic department has suggested an alternate road to these vehicles to take left turn from Samvidhan chowk towards SRPF arch and then right to Salunke Vihar road and straight ahead till ABC farms chowk.
The suggestions or objections can be sent to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic division, Pune city, Bunglow No. 06, near Yerwada post office, Airport road, Yerwada from February 21,2022 till March 7, 2022.
