No new year eve party at the Forts: Pune Forest department
The Pune Forest department has announced that entry to the forts will be strictly restricted after 6 pm on December 31, 2022. This decision has been taken to ensure that no untoward incident happens.
The department has decided to take strict action against those who participate in prohibited activities on 31st night. Last year, revellers made bonfires, played loud music and also littered the surrounding of the forts. So, officers are being extra careful, this time around.
” Our officers will be on rounds on 31st. Usually, we do not allow visitors after 6pm. On 31st December, we will be extra cautious,” said Rahul Patil, Deputy Conservator of Forest Department, Pune.
