No Water Cut On August 10 : Clarifies PMC

PUNE: Due to urgent repair work that was scheduled to be carried out on August 10, 2023 at the Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company’s 220/22 KV Parvati Substation and water station, along with Jurisdiction Pumping, Lashkar Water Station, SNDT MLR Pumping, and Vadgaon Water Station, the Pune Municipal Corporation had decided to keep water supply cut. But the news gathered criticism by several social activities which led to cancellation of the order.

As per the information received, Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company (MSEDCL) had a meeting with Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and decided to cancel the scheduled work. Regular water supply will continue in all parts of the city on August 10, 2023.

It was just recently that the decision of withdrawing the water cut was announced by Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil.
