Good News: Second Vande Bharat train from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra station to New Delhi launched

Pune: As per information, it is likely that the Indian Railways will soon decide to run Vande Bharat trains between Mumbai to Shegaon and Pune to Shegaon to make the journey of devotees comfortable and quick.
A senior officer of the Central Railway informed that the proposal of notification in that regard has also been called from the Central Railways.
The Ministry of Railways is working on a plan to run 30 to 35 Vande Bharat Express trains connecting popular pilgrimage and tourist spots in the country by May 2024.
If all goes according to plan, most tourist and pilgrimage destinations will be reachable by Vande Bharat trains in the new year. If almost all the famous pilgrimage sites of all religions in India are connected with this train service, this will also bring huge revenue to the railways.
The Indian Railways had sent a letter to all the zones asking for instructions regarding the route on which Vande Bharat can be run. On this, the Central Railways sent a proposal to the Railway Board to run Vande Bharat trains on the 331 km Mumbai to Sambhaji Nagar, 562.9 km Pune to Secunderabad, 554 km Mumbai to Shegaon and 470 km Pune to Shegaon railway lines. The Railway Board has discussed this proposal and is considering running the Vande Bharat train between Mumbai and Shegaon.
Indian Railways has decided to transform 1, 309 railway stations across the country under Amrit Bharat Yojana. It also includes Shegaon railway station. Therefore, the devotees coming to Shegaon for the darshan of Gajanan Maharaj will get great relief.
