Over 100 passengers frustrated as Pune-Delhi Vistara flight delayed
A video has been posted on social media in which passengers can be seen frustrated at Pune airport about cancellation of Vistara UK974 Pune to Delhi flight. The airline has said that the flight wasn’t cancelled, it was delayed.
As per further information from the X handle of a passenger Pranali Shah “Vistara, DGCA, please look into the situation. More than 120 passengers are waiting at Pune airport and staff are not cooperating with us. They have cancelled the flight just because their head crew is ill, like seriously.”

In another tweet, Pranali Shah said “And the call centre guy refused to provide I5 0767 while departing at 6:40 and did not handle it and I am on a long wait. Please look into this.”

Pranali Shah again tweeted “Vistara, would you please take a moment and look into this.”
To this, Vistara airline has responded through X “Hi Pranali, we apologize for the inconvenience. Flight UK974 is delayed due to operational reasons, however, the same is not cancelled. Sometimes, these changes occur due to factors beyond our control, despite our best efforts.”

Vistara tweeted again “You may visit bit.ly/3RqRCKT to check the flight status for real-time updates. Rest assured, we are working to expedite the departure. We hope you understand.”
When Pune Pulse contacted the airport, the official informed that the flight departed at 8.40 am and landed in Delhi at 10.30 am. The scheduled departure of the flight was at 5.35 am.
