Chakan –  Member industries of the Federation of Chakan Industries (FCI) have faced many issues related with power supply, caused primarily by a shortage of manpower. In light of this challenge, the FCI has been relentlessly advocating for a separate subdivision of the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the Chakan industrial area. Today, we are thrilled to announce that our efforts have been met with great success, as the MSEDCL Mumbai office has sanctioned a dedicated subdivision exclusively for the Chakan industrial area, equipped with 36 personnel.

The information to Pune Pulse was shared by Dilip Batwal
Secretary, Federation of Chakan Industries.

This newly established subdivision will play a crucial role in addressing the long-standing grievances of member industries regarding power supply in various areas. The Chakan urban, Vasuli, Nigoje, Chakan rural, Chakan gramin, Anandi gramin, Anandi urban, and Bhose regions are set to benefit immensely from this development.

The Federation firmly believes that the provision of sufficient manpower within this separate subdivision will ensure uninterrupted power supply for industries operating in the region. By overcoming the challenges associated with the shortage of manpower, we are confident in our ability to foster sustained growth and progress for the Chakan industrial area.

Batwal said, “This milestone achievement stands as a testament to the dedication and collective efforts of our member industries. Through tireless representation and continuous demand, the Federation of Chakan Industries has successfully pressed for the establishment of this separate subdivision. We extend our gratitude to the MSEDCL Mumbai office and Pune office for their collaboration and support in making this vision a reality.”

“As we celebrate this significant milestone, the Federation remains steadfast in its commitment to overcome any future challenges. We are determined to continue working towards the growth and progress of the Chakan industrial area, ensuring optimal conditions for businesses to thrive,” Batwal added.
