Srinagar/Pune, April 23, 2025:
More than 350 tourists from Pune, including residents from Hadapsar, Shirur, Daund, and surrounding areas, have found themselves stranded in Srinagar following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Among them are Aditya Janardan Khatate, Sneha Agarkhed, Mansi Sachin Pawar, Avinash Lad, Pramod Patil, and several others, who are now urgently appealing to the authorities for a safe return.

The group had been on a sightseeing trip to Pahalgam and safely reached Srinagar on Tuesday, April 22. Though currently out of immediate danger, fear and uncertainty linger. With the district administration releasing helpline numbers, the stranded tourists have begun contacting officials, seeking swift assistance.

The urgent plea comes in the wake of the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives and left 17 others injured. Concerned for their safety, the tourists are requesting coordinated efforts from the administration and government agencies to ensure their prompt evacuation back to Pune district.
