Parisar holds Pune Bus Yatra on March 2

As part of SUM Net India‘s Maharashtra ‘Lakh ko 50‘ (50 buses per lakh population) campaign for better services and more buses, Parisar is organizing a ‘Pune Bus Yatra‘. We cordially invite you to this public event that will take place on 2 March 2022, from 4 pm to 6 pm at the following three locations:

  • Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasahed Ambedkar Udyan, opposite the old Collector office, Agarkar Nagar, 411001 | 4 pm to 4.30 pm
  • Pune MaNaPa bus station, Congress House Road, Shivaji Nagar, 411005 | 4 pm to 6 pm
  • JM (Jangali Maharaj) Road | 4 pm to 6 pm

The Bus Yatra will start at Ambedkar Udyan from 4.30 pm and will reach JM Road at 5.30 pm via MaNaPa and COEP.

Share your transportation needs, experiences and demands which can inform decision-making and guide policy and financial interventions in favour of an efficient bus-based public transport system. 

The Pune Bus Yatra event envisions bringing together citizens, bus users, social groups, activists, mobility experts, urban planners and designers, government officials and media to advance sustainable mobility, equity and climate action throughout Pune with a good bus service at the centre.

Our collective efforts to get an affordable and good quality bus service is at a critical stage which commands that all of us come together.
