Passengers Frustrated Over Poor Facilities At Pune Airport’s New Terminal
Passengers at Pune Airport’s newly opened terminal are expressing dissatisfaction due to several non-functional amenities, including flight schedule boards and Digi Yatra machines.
Although Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new terminal in March, it became operational on July 14. A senior airport official, speaking anonymously, acknowledged some issues but assured that all pending work, including Digi Yatra, would be resolved in the coming months.
No taxis available at Pune Airport… Waited for 45 minutes.. Finally walked out of the airport and after 300 meters caught a auto… Please allow non app taxis, autos to function at Pune airport. OLA UBER cannot meet the demand.

Dheeraj, a frustrated passenger willing to board a cab complained, “Pune Airport and Aeromall are running some scam. Earlier you could be dropped at airport and also picked from same. Since Aero mall pickup from airport is banned. You are not even allowed to hire auto/cab from outside mall. You are required to enter inside mall and go to their second floor. Why? I don’t want to enter the damn mall. Who’s benefitting from this charade?? Also Pune is defence airport – who’s paying who to bring customers into the mall? “
