The traffic congestion in Hinjawadi IT Park has become a never-ending nightmare for citizens, with government agencies engaging in a relentless blame game. The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA), Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), IT City Metro Rail Company, and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation are pointing fingers at each other, instead of finding solutions.

The lack of accountability and coordination among government agencies has sparked widespread frustration. Recently, PMRDA issued a notice to Pune IT City Metro Rail Limited, despite the project being under PMRDA’s supervision. This move has sparked criticism, with many questioning the agency’s accountability.

It was just recently that the PMRDA issued an ultimatum to the authorities of the metro to complete the road work and repair the roads which have potholes.

Citizens are fed up with the lack of accountability and coordination among government agencies. “The blame game is prolonging our misery,” said an IT Park employee. “We just want solutions, not excuses.” The employee’s sentiments echo the frustration felt by many commuters.

The blame game continues, with each agency denying responsibility. PMRDA blames Pune IT City Metro Rail Limited, while MIDC points to PMRDA’s lack of oversight. IT City Metro Rail Company shifts the focus to the contractor company, and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation remains silent.

As the finger-pointing continues, citizens remain stuck in traffic, wondering when they’ll see relief. The Hinjawadi IT Park traffic woes have become a symbol of government inefficiency, highlighting the need for accountability and collective action.

Will the authorities finally take responsibility and work together to address the Hinjewadi IT Park traffic woes? Only time will tell. For now, citizens remain stuck in traffic, victims of a never-ending blame game.
