PCMC announces a 10% rental discount on municipal premises for implementing zero waste
Pune: Shekhar Singh, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner has ordered that a 10% rental discount on municipal premises will be given to Pimpri Chinchwad residents and for organisations that participate in the zero waste campaign. The city participated in the Swach Survekshan 2023 for which multiple ideas for reducing the waste in the city are being implemented. A standard operating procedure was established during the programme organised by the department concerned to reduce waste and implement a zero waste method. The commissioner sent across a circular to all municipal departments to implement the same while conducting campaigns, contests, seminars, lectures, meetings, inauguration, land worship and felicitation ceremonies.
“We are offering a 10% discount on rentals for implementation of the zero waste campaign. It includes the municipal hall, auditoriums and playground. We plan to extend till March 31, 2023 March,” said Vinod Jalak, Assistant Commissioner PCMC.
