Span celebrates sports!
Span International Academy, Pisoli, Pune celebrated its Annual Sports Day on Saturday, 24 December ‘22. The theme for the event was ‘Good Health and Well Being’ which is also one of the goals of United Nations Sustainable development group.
The event was graced by Lt. Col. Javed Sayyed, CEO of Anees Defence Career Institute.
The March Past led by the head girl & head boy was the opening act of the event followed by a drill performed by the pre-primary & primary students. The races & athletic events by the higher grades were truly lively & enthusiastic. A motivating speech for the students was delivered by the school’s principal Ms Sameera Shaikh. The event also included races for the parents, teachers and staff. Towards the closure of the event, the chief Guest addressed the audience and motivated the students, this was followed by the prize distribution ceremony. Mohammed Abdullah Qureshi of grade 10 was adjudged as the best athlete of the school and the GREEN house won the trophy for the winning house.The event concluded with a message by the management member Mr Sohail Ansari and a vote of thanks. The event was indeed a grand success and thoroughly enjoyed by all students and parents!
