PCMC appoints special teams to monitor road repair work

Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) have appointed special teams to repair the potholes on the roads of eight regional offices in the area. Additional Commissioner Pradeep Jambhale Patil has informed that the said special teams will be deployed on all days of the week during the rainy season.
As per the information provided, Pradeep Jambhale Patil, Additional Commissioner, PCMC inspected the Chikhali Sonawane Wasti Road, Talwade Rupinagar Main Road, Tower Line Road, Chikhali Gaon Road, Waghu Sane Chowk to Chinch Mala Road at Chikhali Morewasti, Mukai Chowk to Kiwale Village Road, and Punavle Underpass to Gaikwad Nagar and Koyte Vasti Roads. Later, he gave instructions to the concerned authorities to immediately repair the potholes found on the roads during the inspection and also directed that it should be filled with asphalt or cold mix after the monsoon.
City Engineer Dnyandev Jundhare, Executive Engineer Anil Shinde, Devanna Gattuwar, and Deputy Engineer Shaligram Andure were also present.
The work of filling potholes is being carried out by special teams in all the regional offices of the Municipal Corporation. Joint City Engineer Dnyandev Jundhare has informed that as soon as the complaint is received from the citizens, the work of filling the potholes will be completed immediately.
