PCMC approves budget for Ravet footpath, cycle track
Ravet: Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Singh has given approval for the work of footpath and cycle tracks along the road from Sant Tukaram Maharaj Bridge in Ravet to Mukai Chowk and BRT corridor bus stop painting, corridor repair, pavement repair and other architectural works.
The budget approved for the footpath and cycle track of 6 km from Ravet to Mukai chowk is ₹13.9 crore while budget approved for BRT bus stop repair and maintenance is ₹ 1.7 crore.
“The budget for construction of footpath and cycle track on 30 metre wide road of Ravet’s Sant Tukaram Maharaj Bridge to Mukai Chowk was given approval yesterday in the Standing Committee meeting. The road work is completed but the footpath work is pending,” said Jitendra Wagh, Additional Commissioner of PCMC.
