PCMC assures to remove broken paving blocks outside Park Royale society in Pimple Saudagar
Pimple Saudagar: Residents of Park Royale society of Pimple Saudagar complain about the incomplete work done by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation‘s contractor after laying the underground cable on the footpath in the front gate of the society. The paving blocks too are not put back to its place causing inconvenience to the society members.
Uday Sabde, Park Royale, Secretary said, “The underground cable laying work was completed here by PCMC in December end and from then we are trying to register our complaint on smart Sarathi and PCMC twitter handles to get the issue solved. The paving blocks which they had removed have not been put back. It is causing a problem for senior citizens while walking on the footpath.”
Aniket Dhaygude, site engineer of PCMC Smart City, said, “The road work under Smart City was given to contractors and most of the work in Pimple Saudagar has been completed. The further maintenance work is to be done by the ward office.”
Umakant Gaikwad, PCMC Assistant Commissioner of D Zone, said, “The work is done by the Civic department of PCMC. Yet we will look into the matter and ask the executive engineer to get it done.”
