PCMC demolishes unauthorized constructions spread over 45,000 sq ft in Wakad and Pimple Saudagar
The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) demolished unauthorized construction from Nashik Phata Flyover to Kokane Chowk yesterday evening.
As per further information, action was taken against unauthorized sheds and construction between Nashik Phata Flyover to Kokane Chowk in the area of ’D’ Ward Office. An area of about 45 thousand square feet was cleared.
Action will be taken along the road from Sai Chowk Jagtap Dairy to Dange Chowk. This action was taken as per the order of Commissioner Shekhar Singh and under the guidance of Additional Commissioner Pradeep Jambhale Patil and City Engineer Makrand Nikam.
The action was carried out by four teams from 4 ward offices under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Manoj Lonkar, Field Officer Ankush Jadhav, Amit Pandit, Ajinkya Yele, Suchita Pansare including 4 Deputy Engineers, 5 Junior Engineers, 4 Beat Inspectors, 1 Police Officer from Encroachment Division, 5 Policemen, 3 Women Police 80 MSF Jawans, 1 from Police personnel from Wakad Police Station, 4 JCB, 1 cutter and 20 laborers were present.
