PCMC to hold Jan Samvad sabha ; aims at resolving citizens issues

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation now has an administrator who looks after the city, where the civic commissioner holds the position. With the civic general elections postponed, the state government has appointed an administrator since last one week. To bridge the gap between citizens and corporation, PCMC Commissioner Rajesh Patil has decided to Jan Samvad sabha on every Monday.
On March 21, 2022, the commissioner (administrator) shall hold Jan Samvad sabha at its eight Regional offices to resolve the issues raised by the local citizens. 
Jan Samvad sabha will not only register the problems but also bridge the gap between citizens and corporation. 
Jan Samvad sabha shall be held in each ward offices on every Monday. Rajesh Patil, administrator as well as Commissioner Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has asked each of its eight ward offices to hold Jan Samvad sabha for the convenience of the residents. 
Patil has nominated a coordinating officer for each ward office for smooth functioning of the Sabha. 

Jan Samvad Sabha’s coordinating officers :
A Ward office : Shrikant Savane, city engineer (BRTS) 
B Ward office : Makrand Nikam, Engineer, building and construction 
C Ward  – Prashant Joshi, Building and Estate 
D Ward – Ajay Charthankar, deputy commissioner, social justice and welfare department 
E ward : Satish Ingale, city engineer
F Ward : Ulhas Jagtap, additional commissioner, zone 3 
E ward : Chandrakant Indalkar, legal consultant


These meetings will have attendance of all ward officers, other department officials to understand the problems of the citizens. 
Chief coordinating officer will inform about the recent initiatives taken by the PCMC, State government and all important information related to the development plans of the city. The issues raised at this meeting shall be reported to the commissioner and a meeting shall be held on Tuesday at 10 am to 12 noon where the solutions to the problems which could not be resolved in the Jan Samvad sabha would be taken up and resolved. If the issues take more than the stipulated time, the commissioner will provide a solution in the weekly meeting held on Friday with the concerned head of the department. Commissioner or administrator will attend too these Jan Samvad sabha on any Monday.Â
