The Petrol Dealers Association of Pune has sent an email to the District Supply Officer seeking immediate action.

The irregular supply of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) to petrol pump dealers in the city has become an issue leading to severe inconvenience to not just the dealers but also the consumers.

The Petrol Dealers’ Association of Pune have written an email to the District Supply Officer (DSO) Surekha Mane highlighting the plight of the dealers and intervening into the matter and resolving it.

The problem is majorly reported in the rural areas where the trucks loaded with CNG supply to the gas stations. This delay in serving the stations is leading to long queues of vehicles and pumps running dry for more than 14 hours at a few locations.

In the email, the association stated the pump dealers have been facing issues with regard to the CNG supply from Torrent Gas Limited for the last month.
Vehicles such as auto rickshaws, PMPML buses and private vehicles run on CNG fuel which are facing inconvenience.
