Pimple Saudagar residents win medals at international french language olympiad
Amit Ramchandani and Tarini Ramchandani, residents of Roseland Residency in Pimple Saudagar won the prestigious Silverzone International French Language Olympiad.
“Amit Ramchandani had appeared for this competition when he was in Grade 10. However, due to Covid19, the results were only declared late last year. Amit won the gold medal, trophy, certificate and prize money.
Tarini Ramchandani appeared for the same Olympiad when she was in Grade 7 and won the bronze medal and a certificate of merit,” said proud parents Harish Ramchandani and Dr Raji Ajwani-Ramchandani . They also stated that it was the effort and guidance of their French language teacher Deepika Sidhwani that had helped both the kids immensely.
International French Language Olympiad. French(IFLO) is the second most widely taught language in the world after English. Apart from English, French is spoken in all the five continents. French is also the second language in the world by the number of countries that have adopted it as an official or administrative language. France, fifth in commercial power attracts entrepreneurs in various sectors of activities (distribution, automobile, luxury, aeronautics …), researchers and the best foreign students.
