Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Collects Over ₹860 Crore In Property Tax; Citizens Urged To Avail Abhay Yojana
Pimpri-Chinchwad, March 26, 2026: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has successfully collected ₹860.59 crore in property tax for the current financial year (April 1, 2025 – March 24, 2026), thanks to proactive efforts by the tax department, effective implementation of concessions, and availability of both online and offline payment facilities.
Mayor Ravi Landge thanked citizens for their cooperation and urged property owners with pending dues to immediately pay their taxes and take advantage of the Abhay Yojana, which offers a 90% waiver on late fees for a lump-sum payment. The scheme is valid until March 31, 2026, leaving only five days for eligible taxpayers to benefit.
PCMC currently maintains records for around 7.32 lakh properties, including residential, non-residential, industrial, and other categories, out of which 5,72,902 property owners have already paid their taxes. Officials noted that the number of taxpayers has been steadily increasing each year, reflecting strong civic participation.
Dr. Vijay Suryavanshi highlighted that non-compliant property owners may face strict action, including property seizure and disconnection of water connections, under municipal regulations.

Mayor Landge emphasized that citizens’ active participation in paying property tax plays a crucial role in the overall development of the city. The tax department’s systematic planning and convenient facilities have significantly boosted collections.
Property owners with outstanding dues are urged to pay immediately to benefit from the Abhay Yojana’s late fee waiver, while non-compliant citizens will face strict enforcement measures.
